We warmly welcome Luca Gemballa as a new team member and PhD student at the Chair of Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence in Marketing of Prof. Nadj at the University of Duisburg-Essen. 

Luca completed his Bachelor's degree (B. Sc.) in Computer Science at TU Dortmund University in 2022 and his Master's degree (M. Sc.) in Computer Science at TU Dortmund University in 2024. He wrote his Master's thesis on visualizations as explanations of deep learning based treatment effect predictions in medicine. He will dedicate his research to eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI).
