Two Papers in the field of Explainable AI accepted for this year's DESRIST Conference
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Nadj's chair will be represented at the International Conference on Design Science Research in Information Systems and Technology (DESRIST) with the following full and prototype papers:
- Pauline Speckmann, Mario Nadj and Christian Janiesch (2025). Interactive Explainable Intelligent Systems: Requirements, Design Principles, and Prototypical Implementation
- Pauline Speckmann, Mario Nadj and Christian Janiesch (2025). IXAII: An Interactive Explainable Artificial Intelligence Interface for Decision Support Systems
DESRIST 2025 seeks to address urgent global problems through the lens of localized solutions, highlighting the relevance of community-driven initiatives and context-specific strategies. Our full paper contributes to the track of “Responsible Artificial Intelligence Design,” which is concerned with the design, development, and evaluation of AI systems that are reliable, responsible, and aligned with societal values. Furthermore, our prototype paper provides an opportunity to demonstrate the Interactive Explainable Artificial Intelligence Interface that we have developed and to have a fruitful discussion with researchers and practitioners alike.
